Steamed Apple Slices Recipe

Yields
1 serving (may multiply as needed)

Ingredients

2 Golden Delicious, Gala or other firm but semi-sweet apples


Method

  1. Peel, core and slice the apples into 1-inch thick wedges.
  2. Place the wedges in a steamer basket over boiling water.
  3. Steam about 10 minutes or until warm through and tender crisp.
  4. Enjoy as a light Ayurveda breakfast.
